This Privacy Policy explains how MIA Group handles personal data in the Digital Nomad Visa AI Consultant public beta.
1. Who controls the data
MIA Group operates this beta service and acts as the data controller for account, product analytics and support data processed through the app.
2. Data we collect
- Account data such as your name, email address and encrypted password hash.
- Optional contact details such as phone or WhatsApp number when you provide them.
- Visa-check data, saved countries, compare items and assessment history so you can continue later.
- Product analytics such as page usage, countries viewed, device type, app version, referral or campaign source, approximate country derived from network/proxy country headers, live-presence activity and a security/analytics IP hash rather than the raw IP address in the visitor analytics record.
- Support or feedback messages that you choose to submit.
3. Why we use the data
- To create and secure your account.
- To save your assessments and improve product performance.
- To contact you about visa help only if you request help or give contact permission.
- To send updates or offers only if you separately opt in to marketing.
4. What we do not use for marketing
Passwords, uploaded documents and sensitive visa-check answers are not used as marketing contact data.
5. Sharing and storage
Your data is stored in MIA Group systems and hosting infrastructure used for this app. We do not sell your personal data. We may share limited data with trusted service providers that are necessary to run the app, such as hosting or email-delivery providers.
6. Retention
We keep account and visa-check data while your account remains active, unless deletion is required earlier by law, security or operational reasons.
7. Your choices
- You can update contact preferences inside the app.
- You can export your data using the in-app account tools.
- You can delete your account using the in-app account tools.
- You can also start an account deletion request outside the installed app at Delete Account.
8. Important beta note
This is a free public beta. Product analytics are used to monitor stability, usage and app quality. Avoid entering unnecessary sensitive information in feedback fields.
